Botsford and Goodfellow, Inc. has been providing services for the produce industry since 1965. In 1996, we outgrew our office and moved from Milwaukie, OR to Clackamas, OR where we enjoy not only a larger office space, but closer proximity to some of our larger customers and suppliers. Our sales staff works as a team, (not "sub-businesses"), in a cooperative effort which facilitates job speed and efficiency. Our office is a completely open environment, with no walls or partitions between people, which allows the members of our sales staff to be in constant communication with each other. Armed with the instantaneous information retreival system which our software package provides, our people are able to provide customers and shippers with fast, accurate answers! Our sales staff handles a wide variety of commodities, with particular emphasis on watermelons out of Yuma AZ and Hermiston OR, potatoes out of Hermiston, and Willamette Valley rhubarb. In 1980, we began designing software with the goal of automating the information management aspect of our business which, under manual methods, was very costly and inefficient. We decided to approach this monumental task from the sales person's perspective rather than the accountant's. The result is a software package that not only includes full-featured accounting functionality but also, a user interface manageable by a sales person with limited typing ability (ie. two thumbs). With such powerful, easy to use tools in place at our own office, the next logical step was to offer the same tools to other organizations with similar needs. This web site provides a detailed overview of our software and a number of resources to help current users resolve problems, report bugs, and suggest improvements to our products and service.
