MAJOR CHANGES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
- Added automatic assignment of STG type terms lines to the end customer when transfering
to invoice (CK22) if TO:XXXXXXX is specified in the REMARKS field of the 200 type line.
The customer ID XXXXXXX is substituted as the buyer and the STG terms is replaced with DEL
terms when CK22 is used to transfer to invoices. The REMARKS field is replaced with
ST:YYYYYYY or SN:YYYYYYY where YYYYYYY indicates the interim STG or SNG location. Use this
feature to place in storage pre-sold items. 200 type sales lines with TO: in the REMARKS
field do not appear on TO-SELL screens. Searches on buyers will include accounts specified
in TO:XXXXXXX REMARKS if the terms are STG or SNG.
- Allowed STG type terms on loads already placed in storage. This allows for tranfers of
storage items from one storage location to another. Additional expenses for storage(with
no prices) are set up by succeeding CK22's and will appear in load accounting after the
next invoice cycle.
- Allowed new terms of B+F and F+F in sales distribution. These terms represent BROKERAGE
PLUS FREIGHT and FOB PLUS FREIGHT. Two separate invoices are created to the buyer ID when
CK22 is used to transfer terms to invoicing- one with BFK or FOB terms, and one with FRT
terms. The price for BRK or FOB is the normal price field. The price for FRT is the
freight entry specified in the 200 sales type record. If no freight is specified in the
detail record, then the freight is calculated from the freight rate specified in the load
header.
- FRT terms sales are now included in sales report programs. They were previously excluded
in SAL type formats if terms were not displayed on the report lines.
- ID change programs for CSTV and ITEM have been changed to display and print changed ID's
in alphabetic sequence.
- Added new program to the management menu (22-11) to remove control over records by
workstations that are no longer connected to the system. Use this program to remove locks
on specific records when the locking workstation is not currently available
- Allowed entering of the storage expense/un in the handling field of STG 200 lines in
sales distribution. This expense amount is transferred to load accounting when the load is
invoiced.
- Added new terms of STE, CTE, CTG, and CNG where: STE is like STG but the extended amount
is placed in handling. CTE is like STE but is for cartage type expense. CTG is like STG
but is for cartage type expense. CNG is like SNG but is for cartage with no expense.
- Added capability of entering a 100 or 200 sequence number in sales maintenance
program(SALMNT) prior to CK 15 or CK16 when printing sales distributions or loads. This
allows an alternative to having to type in the ID of a shipper or buyer when printing a
sub-load. Enter the 100 # identifying the shipper, ie-101, or the 200 # identifying the
customer, ie-204.
